ZAP! is a long dreamt project that finally came true. The musical creations started some time around the beginning of year 2008 when Aryashko and Agam first began making music. They met a few years back while studying in Perth and have been friends since then, during which time they’ve formed a cover band and played in several gigs.
The formation was completed when the four of them met at a bar for a casual Saturday night out with some friends. After a short discussion, Iyang and Modschina enthused and quickly agreed to join the project. The four-some made their first music together the following Saturday.
Influenced by the variety of the underground music scene, they create music that sound happy, trippy, playful, dark and madness! Aryashko and Agam collaborate in programming, finding the rhythm and maximizing the tunes with their synthesizers. With their own unique voices, Iyang and Modschina find harmony through singing and lyrics. Like many colours of life, they find inspirations through space, nature, time, sorrow and love.
Zap! is currently working on their EP, coming soon!
